Scholar Staff Positions

Interested in joining the LGBTQIA Resource Center Staff as an Undergraduate Scholar Community Coordinator?

Community Coordinators are more than program coordinators, they are scholars, visionaries, and advocates. Community Coordinators serve as community liaisons for the diverse Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, Asexual (LGBTQIA) community/ies.

Our work at LGBTQIA Resource Center aims to create an open, safe, intentional, inclusive space and a community that promotes learning, discovery, and scholarship about gender and sexual identities.

Our work requires that we engage collaboratively with other community centers (AB540 and Undocumented Student Center, CCC, SRRC, WRRC, etc), and serve as liaisons to students, student organizations, faculty, Ethnic Studies Departments, administrators, and staff to maintain communication and flow of information.

Community Coordinators are paid undergraduate staff that are hired for one academic year.
