Prospective & New Students

The UC Davis LGBTQIA Resource Center is one of the largest of its kind in the nation! We are happy to offer information for prospective students, and help first year and transfer students find community on campus.

If you are considering attending UC Davis and are able to visit the campus, we encourage you to come by our center during open hours to take a tour, meet our staff, and learn about the resources we offer. You can also reach out to any of our career staff to get more information.

We also offer outreach and an open house during Aggie Day - come say hi!

Rainbow House

Rainbow House is a Living-Learning Community for you to connect with members and allies of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex and questioning community. You will explore identity, learn about issues facing the LGBTIQ community, and find supportive resources on campus. This community is connected to the LGBTQIA Resource Center and is open to all students who are interested in exploration of all sexes, genders, sexualities and their intersections with other social identities.

Gender-Inclusive Housing

Student Housing and Dining Services offers a variety of options for inclusive housing. In support of transgender, non-binary and gender-nonconforming students, Residence Halls have gender-inclusive bathrooms as well as gender-inclusive rooms. Learn more on the Student Housing website

Gender-Inclusive Restrooms

Find a gender-inclusive restroom on campus by viewing our gender-inclusive campus restrooms list and map

First-Year Aggie Connections

The LGBTQIA Resource center regularly hosts one or several First-Year Aggie Connections each fall. These groups are a great way to meet other students new to campus, and plug into the LGBTQIA+ community.
