Ness is a proud son of a refugee/immigrant Vietnamese single mother. He's a freshly minted college graduate with a B.A. in Psychology and Sociology who’s excited to apply all the knowledge he's learned from his communities, his previous work at the UC Davis community centers and studies to support scholars. In addition to his regular roles in at the LGBTQIA center he aims to improve food access to marginalized communities at UC Davis through his work with the Student Farm, the Basic Needs Committee and collaboration with the ASUCD to put mini pantries in community resource centers . Come talk to them any time about food, anime, resource management video games and LGBTQIA+ comics, or to try to re-teach them what other signs besides sun signs mean.
As Office Coordinator Ness handles the "backstage" work for the center. He can help you with tasks like space reservations, arranging events, event/resource promotion, and general questions about LGBTQIA resources on campus. He handles the social media for the LGBTQIA RC, the newsletter, event and programming logistics and the volunteer program.
