Defend With Pride Class 2: Party Safety and Close Quarters Confrontation

Defend With Pride is a self-defense series. In a supportive, identity-affirming space, you'll learn practical techniques tailored to real-life situations faced by queer and trans people — especially in college environments. This is your space to move with power, connect with community, and build skills that help you feel safer and more confident in everyday life. No pressure, no experience needed — just show up, be yourself, and leave feeling stronger. This program centers the experience of the LGBTQIA+ community, though any students of the UC Davis community is welcome to attend.
