The LGBTQIA Resource Center is collaborating with Aggie Compass and the Undocumented Student Resource Center to host Mutual Aid: By Us for Us on February 3 from 1-2:30 at the Center. Our panelists work with NorCal Resist, Davis Night Market, and Food Not Bombs. NorCal Resist offers programs like the Seeds of Solidarity Farm that works towards food justice and Deportation Defense that serves the LGBTQIA+ community and broader community. The Davis Night Market is local and is known for providing free food and resources to the Davis community Monday-Friday nights at Central Park. Food Not Bombs is a mutual aid group which aims to feed food insecure community members and reduce food waste. Meals are free, vegan, and open to all. Attendees get to participate in a Q&A panel, eat in community, and take home some free resources (zines...)!
