Sankofa Stories: Go Back and Get Our History is a UC Davis campus panel on Black queer history and higher education. The event features virtual guest panelists C. Riley Snorton and Darius Boost, co-authors of a Black Queer History of the United States, alongside in-person panelist Amina Mama. 

The conversation centers Black queer history as a critical framework for understanding U.S. history, academic knowledge and community care. Open to UC Davis students and faculty, the program includes a book giveaway and catering by Louisiana Heaven with vegetarian and vegan options.
